Rake and Bake
Each Fall FRCS Middle School students spend an afternoon of community service by helping neighborhood senior citizens with raking and other lawn responsibilities. In addition to lawn clean up, students also present each home with fresh baked goods. It is a rewarding day for both student and recipient.

8th Grade Trip
Each year in preparation for the 8th Grade Exploration Project/Class, an educational trip is taken to Chicago in order to investigate potential project topics. Two days are spent exploring educational destinations such as: Museum of Science and Industry, the Planetarium, Museum of Natural History etc.
