Timothy J. Gambino-- Superintendent

Tim Gambino earned a BS in Elementary Education from Evangel University (Springfield, Missouri) and a MA in Guidance and Counseling and an EdS Degree in School Administration from Eastern Michigan University. He taught in the Van Buren Public School District for 12 years prior to coming to Brightmoor Christian Church in 1982. From 1982 until 1986, he served as the Christian Education Director of the church. In 1986 he started Franklin Road Christian School under the pastorate of Thomas E. Trask, then Pastor of Brightmoor Tabernacle. Since that time he has served as the Superintendent of Franklin Road Christian School.

Dennis Gerathy

Dennis Gerathy earned his B.A. in History and English from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 1990. He went on to earn an M.A. in Educational Leadership from Wayne State University. Professionally, Dennis has taught at the middle school/high school levels for 11 years at FRCS and with the Livonia Public Schools.  He has served as Assistant Principal in the Livonia Public Schools District for the last 8 years. Additionally, Dennis has coached High School and Little League baseball and his professional affiliations include MASSP and NASSP.  At Brightmoor Christian Church his ministries include Royal Family Kids' Camp, MOB group leader and Dennis serves on the MOB Advisory Board.

Gail Sullivan

Gail Sullivan graduated from Oakland University with a B.A. in Elementary Education with minors in Language Arts and Science. She went on to complete her M.A. in Teaching and Curriculum at Michigan State University. She now owns and operates, with her husband, Sullivan Builders LC. For 7 years, she was Co-Director for Royal Family Kids’ Camp in Oakland County. Royal Family Kids’ Camp, Inc. (rfkc.org) is located in Santa Ana, CA. RFKC is a program which provides one-week resident camps for abused and neglected children in the Foster Care System.

Jeff Bonzelaar

Jeff Bonzelaar holds a B.A. from Southeastern University, as well as an M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. Jeff has dedicated the last 19 ½ years to Life Challenge of Southeastern Michigan, and from 1996 to the present, has served there as Executive Director. In addition, from 1996 to the present, Jeff has worked as an Adjunct Professor for Central Bible College-Detroit Extension. He has been a volunteer soccer coach for Redford Soccer Club, and owns Father and Son Lawn Service. Jeff is an ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God.

Cyndi Bates

Cyndi Bates has played an integral role for Franklin Road Christian School and Brightmoor Christian Church as our accountant. She graduated from Redford Union High School and has extensive experience in bookkeeping in the industries of robotics, automobile, manufacturing, and retail. She has served on the School Board for 6 years.

Todd Holleman

Todd Holleman holds a B.B.A. from Grand Valley State University, and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School. Todd is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, and State Bar of Ohio. He is a Principal at Miller Canfield law firm. Todd and his family have been members at Brightmoor Christian Church since 2004, and Todd has served on the Board of Deacons since 2007. Todd is very active in his family, church, and community, volunteering his time in a number of services and ministries.
