Sports Participation at FRCS
In order to participate on any team at FRCS, players must have two forms, and fee, on file by the first day of practice: a sports physical form completed after April 15, and an FRCS participation form and transportation release. For their own safety, no athlete will be permitted to participate in practices or contests without these forms on file. Forms may be downloaded and printed here:
Athletic Fees per Sport:
|Middle School 6-8||$105|
|High School 9-12||$125|
Each form is also available on RenWeb located in Resource Documents. Paper copies are available in the Athletic Office.

FRCS students have ample opportunity to discover the joy of athletic achievement through competitive sports. Emphasis is placed on upon developing the “whole” student; that is, body, mind and spirit. Athletics at FRCS provide excellent opportunities for our students to practice good sportsmanship and leadership skills. Athletic teams facilitate lifelong friendships and character building. We see our athletic program as a venue in which Christian character can be taught and Christ-like behavior demonstrated.
Our coaches encourage our athletes to strive for excellence while keeping athletics in its rightful place in the life of a student. We also want them to realize that in sports – as well as in life – success is not defined by how many “W’s” are in the win column, but rather by giving your best effort with Christian character.
FRCS competes in the Michigan Independent Athletic Conference (MIAC). Currently, FRCS offers eleven varsity sports that compete in the MIAC conference. There are forty teams overall from Kindergarten through 12th. For more information for each sport, please click on the menu to the left.
