At FRCS, we believe in giving our students ample opportunity to discover the joy of athletic achievement through competitive sports. Our athletic program is overseen by our Athletic Director, Mr. Glynn Blackwell, former NBA athlete for the Seattle Supersonics. Further, our Athletic Advisory Board consists of strong leaders in the national athletic community, including Mr. Bill Lam, renown wrestling coach for University of North Carolina. Our board is dedicated to providing exceptional opportunity for athletic achievement to each child, through excellent team construction, coaching, and leadership.

We believe that competitive sports help students to develop confidence, self-esteem, positive relationships, a healthy body, and a healthy mind. Overall, competitive sports help our students to mature in character and leadership abilities, and enrich their lives.
Our Varsity Men’s Soccer team won the MIAC Conference Banner fall '08. In addition, our men's and women's Varsity Basketball teams won the MIAC Conference Banner winter '09, and our Varsity Baseball team took the conference in spring, '09. Several of our senior athletes anticipate competing at the college level on scholarship.
In addition, we are proud to offer a competitive athletic program for grades K-5. Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, and Mini-Warrior Cheer Team are available for our elementary students.
