Extended Day Program
Elementary School
FRCS Extended Day Program is designed to provide quality, safe, affordable and nurturing supervision for FRCS elementary students (K-5). It’s an environment where your child can develop friendships while doing homework or taking part in a variety of activities including games, arts and crafts, reading, computer games, and more. Forms can be found on Renweb. Extended Day Program Elementary opens at 6:30 AM and closes at 6:00 PM.
Parents can expect:
- Children to be provided a safe, supportive environment
- To visit with the director about concerns related to their child or the program
- To visit the program at any time
- To be notified if an emergency or behavior situation occurs. If the parent cannot be reached, the emergency contact will be called.
- To be informed about special program activities
Children can expect:
- To have a safe, supportive, and consistent environment
- To use all the program equipment, supplies and materials on an equal basis
- A light snack each day
- To receive respectful treatment
- To have discipline in accordance with FRCS guidelines
- To receive nurturing care from staff members
We expect parents will:
- Pick children up on time
- Pay all fees on time
- Keep personal and emergency medical information up-to-date
- Follow FRCS health policies
- Communicate when the child will be attending the Extended Day Program
- Work with the director when necessary regarding a child’s behavior
We expect children will:
- Arrive at Extended Day promptly
- Respect staff, students and school
- Be responsible for their actions
- Remain with the group and staff at all times
- Take care of materials and equipment and return them to their place
- Obey school rules
